My name is Nagnath Sawant. I am a self-learner, a flute enthusiast, and a passionate artisan devoted to the soulful art of bamboo flute making. My journey with flutes is not driven by age, trends, or business alone—it is driven by inner calling, dedication, and deep love for sound.
Though my formal journey into flute making began around five years ago, my connection with music and creativity has been lifelong. Today, even at the age of 63, my enthusiasm, curiosity, and discipline remain as alive as ever. I strongly believe that when passion leads, age simply follows.
Flutes are not just instruments to me—they are my companions. They live in my thoughts, my conversations, my actions, and even in my dreams. The sound of a well-tuned bamboo flute has the power to calm the mind, uplift the soul, and connect the player to something far greater than words.
Each piece of bamboo I select is treated with patience and respect. From cutting and seasoning to tuning and finishing, every step is done with complete attention to breath, balance, and tone quality.
